Beeston Fields Walled Garden Wedding in Nottingham | Kara + Tom

We love a good shindig, so we jumped at the chance to shoot Kara and Tom’s Beeston Fields Walled Garden Wedding in Nottingham. Set in 135 acres of stunning gardens and grounds; Nottingham’s, Beeston Fields County House has a long history of hosting weddings.  The first wedding at the venue was back in 1865.  Nestled within the grounds of Beeston Fields is The Walled Garden which played venue to this wedding.  Lovingly restored in 2011 it has been hosting weddings ever since.  It is now one of the most popular wedding venues in the Nottingham area.  With its permanent marquee set within stunning Victorian gardens, it is a beautiful venue.  It is easy to see why Kara and Tom chose it for their day.

Bridal Preparations

Arriving at Kara’s home where she got ready with her Mum, Dad, bridesmaids and flower girls the excitement was almost tangible. Fun, relaxed with plenty of laughter and a whole lot of love, the bridal preparations were a delight to capture.  Kara smiled from the moment we arrived until the end of her day, and looked stunning we’re sure you’ll agree.

The Ceremony

Kara and Tom opted for an outdoor ceremony at The Walled Gardens at Beeston Fields. The wedding ceremony took place under the old green house with it’s back wall lined with rambling roses.  Their wedding guests watched from the old bandstand and beautifully maintained lawn. It was delightful.

The Reception

Following the ceremony the wedding celebrations moved to the marquee for the reception.  This was beautifully decorated with eucalyptus and paper lanterns hanging from the ceiling.  The tables adorned with candles and gypsophila looked elegant.  Furthermore, the British summer held out for their day.  This allowed some traditional and some less traditional garden games.  With guests the beer pong on the lawn was popular and involved a lot of laughter.  The wedding breakfast consisted of a wonderful BBQ accompanied by live music from The Burgundy’s.  And who could forget the Portuguese tarts?  These little delights were used for the wedding cake. To top the evening off Kara and Tom opted to include one of our amazing LUXBOOTH photo booths.  Kara and Tom thank you for inviting us to capture your special day.
